Within the walls of the former Green Island prison, political detainee A-Kuen, tells the stories of imprisonment and persecution happened in the 1950s in Taiwan. Among fellow inmates, frozen in time, he recounts his own experiences and those of his friend, A-Ching, who never made it out. Experience the time and place, and the waiting, in hope, for a chance to keep the stories alive. The Man Who Couldn’t Leave integrates the stories of numerous political victims of the White Terror and told through the form of an undelivered family letter. An immersive VR experience of hope, fear and camaraderie.

RED TAIL《紅尾巴》

★2022 NewImages Festival-Special Mention in XR Competition

★2022 Venice International Film Festival, Nominee in Venice Immersive Competition

A boy is always chasing a red tail. After passing through many magical cities, extremely exhausted, he finds himself waking up in a gentleman’s room. It turns out that the red tail is a fish, which is formed by the boy’s own blood. The red tail reminds the boy that the fish is his own sadness that he once tried to break loose from. He wanted to forget all the sadness in him, but unfortunately could not. In the end, the boy was actually travelling inside his mind. The boy’s tears revive the fish and he makes peace with his own sadness.

Wonder of Life《窺見生命的奧妙》

★2023 Tokyo International Short Film Festival-Best Virtual Reality

★2023 Los Angeles Film Awards (LAFA)-Best Virtual Reality

★2023 NewImages Festival-Nominee in XR Competition

"Wonder of Life" is based on contemporary Taiwanese painter Lin Yushan’s national treasure level work “Lotus Pond". Using high-spec, brand new production and 4K new media technology, the ecological world of "Lotus Pond" is reproduced in VR before the viewer’s eyes. Through the lifelike scenes in the painting and the different perspectives of the pond’s animal inhabitants, it invites viewers to experience the profound emotion that Lin Yushan felt as he watched over the lotus pond from dusk until dawn, witnessing the blooming of the lotus and "peering into the mysteries of life". “Wonder of Life” especially invited international award-winning director Huang Xinjian as a consultant, while also having Chinese and English narration provided by Los Angeles Film Awards VR Gold Award director Zhang Wenjie and decorated Golden Melody/Golden Horse Award musician Lei Guangxia.
