The Goethe-Institut has accompanied the conference and its programmes from the very first moment.
Nowadays the cooperation stands for an international network of television professionals as well as for intercontinental communication between different countries, institutions and individuals.
The Film, Television and Radio Department of the Goethe-Institut Headquarter in Munich supports these activities by organizing matching advance training programmes. On the basis of the international INPUT contributions, the local Goethe-Instituts also organize approximately 15 to 20 “Mini INPUTs” each year. After the focal conferences, the programmes are available at conferences on television in designated places worldwide. The focus is on strengthening the public broadcasting institutions in these individual countries.
More than ten colleagues from Goethe-Instituts worldwide are participating in the programme in order to network during the INPUT Tokyo. The department also provides financial support for selected filmmakers, experts, moderators and artists.
On this occasion the Goethe-Institut invites to a reception at the “R2 Supper Club”, located in the heart of Roppongi, between Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills. At this unique place people can enjoy fingerfood, drinks, and selected music in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. As special guests of the reception, the Goethe-Institut presents Florian Schewe and Katharina von Schroeder from “Grimme – Preis” - awarded production „We were rebels”. There will be a short panel discussion with the German filmmakers. Later on, special guest and rap-artist Cheikh Séne from Dakar, Senegal will perform some lyrics of his well-known program “The rapped news”.
By personal invitation only.
