From the Welcome Letter by the Chairman of PTS, CTS & INPUT 2006, by Dr. Louis Chen:
"Public Television Service has the great honour to host INPUT 2006.
INPUT's mission is to encourage the development of public service television worldwide. For the first time INPUT has come to Asia and Taiwan is the best first stop. Now we can call INPUT a "World Family".
Taiwan's media environment is undergoing major reforms. PTS is transforming into a public service broadcasting group - the Taiwan Broadcasting System. The establishment of TBS is a major achievement in Taiwan's public broadcasting industry. This achievement has also closely mirrored, and been boosted by, the development of Taiwan's civil society and independent filmmaking. It's young, vital and thriving."

PTS's staff is now the major organizing force. An outsourced Administrative Supervisor has joined the team in April 2006.
