GEO TV & Goethe-Institut Pakistan team up for third Mini-INPUT

The third Mini-INPUT to be held at the Goethe-Institut in Karachi is scheduled to be held early 2009.
The partner for the Goethe-Institut in Karachi will be GEO-TV, as in previous years. The National Coordinator of Pakistan, Ghazi Salahuddin, Shopstewards Coordinator, Bill Gilcher and International Board Member, Frank-Dieter Freiling (ZDF, Germany) will be present in Karachi to introduce and discuss the programmes with the audience. A number of programmes as suggested by the moderators and the Goethe-Institut from INPUT 2008 in Johannesburg will be screened, including titles like Starck versus Starck - France, Please Vote for Me - China and Just and Ordinary Jew from Germany.
During the first Mini-INPUT in 2006 in Karachi, the idea was to introduce INPUT to a Pakistani audience, the second Mini-INPUT (2007) was held with the first National Coordinator for Pakistan - the goal of this third Mini-INPUT will be to stimulate the television programming in Pakistan so that programmes from Pakistan can be submitted for INPUT 2009 in Warsaw.
